Self-Compassion vs. Self-Esteem
I recently found this video by Kristin Neff. She's a psychologist who practices Buddhism and focuses her work on self-compassion. In the video, she brings up an interesting point about the difference between self-esteem and self-compassion:

Great stuff Glow. I particularly like the fact that people who are prejudiced, tend to have high self-esteem. Class distinction and stratification fits so well with this.
