    Yep.

    The way I first heard it was something like this though:

    "There are three things which shine brightly; the sun, the moon and the Dhamma."

    Remember you need to distinquish between a teaching which is definitive and one that is in need of your own interpretation. I think this problem is coming up for you a lot where you think the whole dharma is definitive or even statements by various teachers you hear and you think it is definitive. Remember the nonsensical zen statements that are skillful means and clearly not definitive.
