Sorry for lame question.
i found this quote on many sites, and people who publish it always say its some kind of Buddhist saying.
The quote goes like this:
"You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere"
Do you know if it is actually Buddhist saying , and if it is , from which book it was taken.

There are some passages of some texts, like my signature, that reassure oneself, but I never saw any mentioning love in that way.
I always figured it to be warning against condescending.
Like before going around spreading you "love" and "affection", figure out yourself first.
But may be you are right. Its strange that it has no source reference nowhere in net.
Too bad i dont have "teacher" to ask:)
