I'm new to this and glad I found this site !
I am searching for a way forward with my life and Buddhism seams the perfect answer. Any help on direction much appreciated as am feeling very low.

Everyone feels low sometimes, so you aren't alone. The key is to recognize that all emotions, positive or negative, are transient. The best thing we can do is to rest in the present moment.

Learn to practice meditation. Reading is good and brings understanding, but Wisdom is where the "real deal" of Buddhism comes in. Wisdom comes only from meditation practice.
