"Emerging from the intelligence of the now"

    http://www.anaditeaching.com/schedule.htm

"Emerging from the intelligence of the now, the teaching transcends concepts of enlightenment that live in traditions of the past..."

I have glanced through this site, and I see nothing in it that "transcends concepts of enlightenment that live in traditions of the past". Maybe it's based in Judaism, because the retreats appear to take place mostly in Israel, but I see nothing on this site that says anything that's not already covered in Buddhism.

Some of the English is dreadful. It's very verbose, and actually says very little.
And it's all over the place....

I can find absolutely nothing about the author, and as said, it's chewing over mish-mash stuff and regurgitating it as something blissfully original and wonderful.
The inner state is a reality in and of itself — a landscape of consciousness and being, the space of our inner abidance in the now, the existential bridge between the soul and the plane of universal I am.

    What....?

    It's tripe.

Here's a summary of his teachings:

    http://myanalyses.com/aziz.html

Comparing with Thusness/PasserBy's Seven Stages of Enlightenment - Aziz's first step is the I AM stage or the Pure Presence, but in this stage one is not free from the construct of personality. Second step is I AM with personality deconstructed to the point where there is no personal self or doership and one becomes one with universe, third step is one experiences the individual stream of consciousness with an experience of one's divinity, the divinity which comes from the awareness of this so called greater life or life intelligence.

"Now that the Heart center is open, we experience that the most direct and personal experience of the self is in the Heart. We become aware of the Soul. Inherent in the Soul is a profound sensitivity which comes from the Heart. The Heart is universal, but extends into an individual expression which we call the Soul. Because of this we are one with I AM but also separate from I AM. The Soul is what experiences oneness and separation. Experiencing oneness is only accessible if one can also experience separation."

This is the part where one experiences divinity as if one as an individual is being lived/expressed by the universal heart. The soul here refers to a mystical union with the divine... a realization of one's oneness with the Divine, much like Awareness with the experience fo One Life through impersonality.

So Aziz's stages are in fact corresponded with Thusness Stage 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

He does not teach Anatta or Emptiness (Thusness Stage 5 and 6) which are the crucial insights of Buddhism... nevertheless Aziz has important insights to share.
  • Aziz Kristof is the only Person who has made great strides in depth in the Field of Enlightenment. When we read his Books and Teachings we can find easily that he speaks straight from his Heart. I am very fortunate to have come across his Books in my Life due to God's Grace. His Books "Enlightenment Beyond Traditions " and "Human Buddha" establish what TRUTH and ABSOLUTE is. His Teachings are based on the Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta Principles. He Deals in depth about Mind and Heart.

The following web page will throw some light on Aziz Kristof's Teachings:

Yeah, thanks. Glad you found something that works well for you....
  • His teaching is not complete, but it's good to a point.

He say's there is no consciousness outside of the brain, and says so due to no dream in deep sleep where there is no brain activity.

I don't see him as all that experienced, plus he does only get up to the Thusness first few stages and doesn't understand the Buddhas teachings on Anatman or emptiness, or dependent origination for that matter.

    But, whatever evolves you now.
  • I differ with the points of 'Vajraheart' mentioned above. Aziz Kristof is very Clear in his approach. There are many stages in the Enlightenment. Enlightenment is not a single point destination. It is a continuous Evolution involving several stages. The Enlightenment attained by Buddha is mostly at the Mind Level. The Enlightenment attained by Christ is at the Heart Level. Ramana Mahrishi also points to Enlightenment at the Heart Level only. Aziz Kristof has realized the Truth by deeply going through both Zen and Advaita Principles.

When we read the book "I AM THAT' by Nisargadatta Maharaj, the Advaita Vedantic Scholar, we clearly find that he lived in the state of Enlightenment for several decades. All the Questions and Answers by Nisargadatta Maharaj point clearly that he speaks Absolute Truth only. But unfortunately, Nisargadatta Maharaj did not Explain the Methodologies to attain the state, which Aziz Kristof ELOQUENTLY puts in his TEACHINGS. It is extremely difficult to explain the path to Enlightenment similar to Explaining how 'Sugar will be Sweet' in words. Inspite of such oddities Aziz Kristof has made Mind boggling Attempts to Explain the Complete Route Map to Enlightenment which NO ONE Has attempted Till Date. It is very difficult to come into grips with the explanations of Aziz Kristof as the messages conveyed by him are very very subtle. He is the only person who has made attempts to explain the Methodologies and Route Map to attain Enlightenment.

All of us should read his Books " Enlightenment Beyond Traditions', 'Transmission of Awakening' and 'Human Buddha' fully. Then we can realize the Truth contained in it. Aziz Kristof can be regarded as the successor to Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta Maharaj definitely.
