Practice of buddhist prinicples in....?

I'm looking for some insight on how people whom are in hazardous fields such as law enforcement security guard and more high level security guard work incorporate Buddhist principles into their daily routine. My field of work is as a guard but alot more seriousness than your average bank ,mall or even train station guard. Just looking for some insight.
