Dalai Lama Visits Toronto Oct. 22-25

HH the Dalai Lama is coming to Toronto this fall. He's giving a public talk at the Rogers Centre on Fri. Oct. 22 at 2:00 p.m. and the talk is entitled Human Approaches to World Peace.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster outlets or online and you can also get discounted group rates for groups of 10 or more through Groupsales@rogerscentre.com.

Tickets are only $20, $30, $40 plus taxes and fees. Group rates get you a further discount. It should be awesome!

    My thoughts will be with you. The Tibetan who organised our visit to Dharamsala in 2001, after falling ill in the horrible climate of Delhi, moved to Toronto and, in his last email to me, ages ago, told me how warmly he was welcomed there. Canada seems to have adopted a very positive attitude towards the refugees.

    Canada awarded HHDL honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006. So far we have awarded this honour to only 6 ppl in total. HHDL was the 3rd person to receive it after Nelson Mandela and Raoul Wallenberg. So HHDL is very well respected here (and everywhere he goes).

    Pls tell everyone you know that HHDL is coming to Toronto and speaking at the ROgers Centre on Fri. Oct. 22 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets available thru Ticketmaster.

    HHDL is also giving a teaching on Sun. Oct. 24 starting with Long Life ceremony and empowerments at 9 a.m. at the TCCC. Tickets are available online at www.dalailamatoronto2010.org

    We would like as many ppl to come to the Public Talk in particular to help welcome HHDL to Toronto.
