I'm a sucker for profundity.
From a mountain's cliff,
I watch the world below.
Half hidden in morning's fog,
Half seen through rising sunlight.
I recall peering through the fog,
Sunrise so diffuse it could not be seen;
And looking with early morning's light,
To see nothing but fog surround.
Yearning for one is blind to both;
The mountain sees all.
