Can anyone give me any information about this group? The website only really has general information, and what I'm really looking for is anyone who has had experience with or knows anything about the organization.

I don't have any personal knowledge of them, but I know of others who have had experience with them, and I've only heard good things about them. Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche is a very hip, Western-oriented teacher who seems to be very good at teaching the Dharma to us barbarians in a way that is easily understandable. I also think he gives good advice. We had a young lady who was a nun at our center but got lured by the sirens of samsara into breaking her vows and dropped her robes. She also left with a great deal of resentment and anger at our teacher because she had been called on the carpet for her behavior. She ended up in Seattle with Dzogchen Ponlop, and she asked him to be her teacher. Her told her straight up that she was welcome to do that if she wished, but that first she had to make things right with her root teacher, which, to her credit, she has done and feels tremendously better for doing so (as do we, as we liked her and hated to lose her like that). So I have a lot of respect for a lama who would be that honest with a student, and it speaks highly of Rinpoche's integrity and skillful means. So if you're looking for a recommendation, there it is!

Ponlop Rinpoche is also a pretty brilliant Buddhist scholar.
The Nitartha Institute was founded by him and they have produced many excellent translations under his guidance.
    Highly recommended.

Yes, indeed. I use their Tibetan software regularly to produce the practice books for our temple.
