Training the Mind.

States of mind such as Attachment and Aversion create mental unrest and sufferings, Its much better even how much our self grasping will scream to practise putting the right view into effect. That is viewing these beings as very kind people, and viewing Delusions as the source of all suffering, It is important to note you must make the seperation between Delusion and the person, Just as a skilled doctor knows that when his or her patient lashes out it is from the illness in the same way sentient beings are afflicted by the Illness of Delusion that causes them to act harshly and create suffering for their selves and others, Gather all blame into one as Geshe Chekawa advises at the feet of Delusion lays all blame, Knowing this correct view we should make effort everytime we experience discomfort and suffering to not blame external circumstances or other people but to blame Delusion as the source of all problems which has caused us to experience these sufferings, and use these situations as perfect oppertunity to develop good qualities of patience, Loving compassion, Bodhichitta and so forth. The Distinction is Important Ultimately Sentient beings have no faults but Delusion does, You remove your own Delusion you remove your own faults. Our own practise is Dependant upon others without them we would have no oppertunity to develop these minds, So never view them with minds of aversion as this is creating the cause for more suffering.
Enter correct paths of training the mind and you see that everything transforms from being impure to pure.

I was thinking about this as I got so annoyed at my dogs. How they seem like a distraction to me. They are always looking at me expectantly. I don't really want dogs but they are my mom's dogs and they live with me. I hit my limit and I became so conscious of my frustration with them.

not all sentient beings know what they are doing, i would say though in the human realm, there is a definite choice matrix where delusion is not the primary hindrance... unless you look at all of the three poisons and all negative actions as ultimately bound to the root delusion of the Delusion that binds us All

    A choice Matrix ?
Hmmm Delusion Permiates all being sentient beings aggregates have arisen In dependence upon Delusion, Through out all their lives they have known nothing other then what they grasp at as the I commanding every action by acting upon said desire. How could Delusion not be the primary hindrance in the human realm ?

i guess it has to be!! i was only wondering if it is still delusion when the delusion is recognized but aggregates, pleasures, or sensations are still grasped at. if it is, then delusion is the womb of all vice?

States of mind such as Attachment and Aversion create mental unrest and sufferings,

I have been pecking at Buddhist lit. for the past few months and even took a ten day Vipassana Course (S N Goenka school). But my questions have not stopped haunting me.

Living in a competitive market economy requires that you keep your aversions and attachments. How do you work and how do you live without them?

In my case I have been steadfastly adhering to certain value systems so I had any marketing or manipulative tendencies. And I had been a loser precisly for that reason. After so many years I doubt whether failed to understand the way of the world or it is alright to lose rather than violate my core principles. No answer. Only the nagging mind in churning.

Buddhism does not seen to show the way to live in this world. It is like looking through a telescope a faraway planet in the space, ignoring the pothole right before your feet.

Any one to throw light, if not enlightenment?

It is easy to apply mindfullness to these things with a mind of loving compassion things become easy, When at work maintain the disgressions of the Job but it need'nt be contradictory to work in that you can maintain a mind of loving kindness to others and still make choices that need to be made, All these stem from the mind when in buisness do as the buisnessman but these external circumstances neednt hinder our peace of mind or training but rather serve as a reminder and a good oppertunity to practise is cultivating the minds that remove samsara.

Am I the only one who found this post very hard to read due to the Random Capital Letters and the lack of punctuations in the text? o_O
