Zen Poetry

edited September 2010 in Arts & Writings
I wrote some zen poetry last night for my first time:

1
Is philosophy the opposite of zen?
Philosophy. Think, think, think.
Zen. Don’t think.

2

Everything has an empty shell.
The emptiness is what holds it all together.

3

Emptiness is the space between the spider’s web.

4

Without relationship, there is no self.
Self is contextual.

5

Emptiness permeates everything,
Self permeates everything.
But the self is not empty.
