It's just a ride?

Hey guys, I found this and it really clicked with me. I bet a bunch of you have seen it already, but I'd like to share it with those who haven't. It's funny how a comedian can so simply and eloquently get a message across.

That is great ... thanks for sharing that Marmalade.

My hubby likes to play this song to me ... if ever I tend to get a bit serious - difficult to stay that way living with folk I do :)

I like what he says at the beginning:

"There is a point...is there a point to all this? Let's find a point"

Bill Hicks was very wise in my opinion. He made stupid mistakes like most of us have but he seems to have reflected and learnt from his experiences which many of us do not do.

I think that is the key difference between a wise person and a foolish person. The wise person does something stupid and learns from it, the foolish person keeps making the same mistakes over and over.
