Buddhism in video games??
I used to play Fallout 3 a long time ago. There was a random encounter with an Uncle Leo. A super mutant who does not fight and gives you a gift when you tell Leo that you are going to rob him.

The Moon Cannot Be Stolen Ryokan, a Zen master, lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening a thief visited the hut only to discover there was nothing to steal.
Ryokan returned and caught him. “You have come a long way to visit me,” he told the prowler, “and you should not return empty-handed. Please take my clothes as a gift.”
The thief was bewildered. He took the clothes and slunk away.
Ryoken sat naked, watching the moon. “Poor fellow,” he mused, “I wish I could have given him this beautiful moon.”

No because F3 was made by Bethesda. FNV was made by Obsidian. Obsidian team used to make F1 & F2.
It's still developed under the auspices of Bethesda however. I doubt Uncle Leo would appear in New Vegas simply because A: it's possible for him to die during the events of Fallout 3, and B: it's a long way from D.C. to Vegas with not much in the way of long distance transportation left in the post-War United States.
