what to think of these people?

edited October 2010 in Buddhism Basics
During times when I was absolutely convinced of some near-truth(which is ultimately all anything is in this world. near truth. some truths are more near, however) people, people who normally never act like they're interested or even completely deny it, have said things that I know meant that they knew too. Is this just a temporary expression of their buddha nature or does everyone know when I know, and simply keep up the way that they are because...idk that's how they are represented in this world. Although i've noticed that people are better versions of themselves when i'm closer to the truth, especially when I combine right action with it. Or is it that those specific people know and they just don't like to talk about it?

To answer your last question. Imho people become, what you see in them. If you see the good in people, it's a lot easier for them to show this good and the other way around. :)

Can you be more specific about what you're experiencing?

I just try not to judge, good or bad. It's hard but it gets easier once I'm more mindful of all the reasons my mind wants to judge and label.

When I first had a major breakthrough, I discussed things with someone who normally has 0 interest in these sorts of things. This time, she was discussing it in the same way that I would. She was so understanding, and I soon felt as though she was simply an expression of the same thing that i'm an expression of. We talked about everything, and it was like I sort of rewired her brain. It was a very crazy, yet fun, conversation. Shortly after I went off the deep end and ended up in a mental health crisis unit. We haven't spoke of the convo since i've been back. Then again i've barely talked to her.
