A Muslim friend of mine asked me yesterday if I could help him meditate. He told me an interesting thing that Muhammad became a prophet after meditating. So my question is what kind of meditation would you recommend me showing him for his religious beliefs, to further his beliefs?

The whole point of Meditation is that it's a-religious; that is to say, has no creed to underpin it, and can be practised in the same room, at the same time, in the same way, by many people of different genders, religions, persuasions and backgrounds.
It cuts across humanly-imposed boundaries, and shows, nor contains any bias.

This is how you should present it to him.
