stealing energy

Hi,

I am writing to see if you can shed some light on something that confounds my rational mind.

It is to do with taking energy from other people. It happens to me several times a week. It involves a feeling of an energy vacuum or hole appearing in my chest, and a corresponding gain of energy from the nearest person. This usually results in them taking a sudden intake of breath, or suddenly coughing. It starts as an unconscious process (I can never initiate it myself), where the energy vacuum appears in my chest, but continues as a conscious process, where I choose to continue with this 'grab' of energy.

So, in effect, I can cause people to lose their breath, and breath in suddenly, or suddenly cough, all because of this channel that occurs.

I have tried searching Google for any clues to see what this, and have only found a website about energy vampires. That website wasn't accurately describing what happens for me.

This phenomenon can't be interpreted through physics or science, which is why I am writing to you, to see if you can explain what is happening, why it is happening, and to point me in the right direction to learn more about things which can't be described by the rational mind and science.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Yeah, I understand that what I am saying is a little beyond what science would say is possible, and that if we understood what was going on, a new dimension in understanding would open up.

    How to film it? A good question.

    I'll be honest, I am a skeptic. I believe you believe it, but I don't think that's what's happening at all.

    There are many of bounties out there for people who can demonstrate some sort of paranormal activities. So, if you can demonstrate this in some way, you'd be the first.

    This sounds like a psychological issue and an obsessive thought, in my opinion. Probably not something to focus on. But again, just my take.

    Hi srd75,
    We're all made up of energy including everything around us. Whatever you'd like to call it...Universal energy, Chi, the universal life force. In my experience(and I'm certainly no expert) when we're not feeling well for one reason or another we feel a depletion in our energy and our natural inclination is to try and fill it back up. We tend to give energy and borrow it from others without our conciously realizing it. It's why we can feel very tired emotionally and physically after visiting a place like a hospital where many people are sick, hurt and afraid.
    I've heard of the kind of 'vampires' your referring to though from what I've read that's more of a concious and deliberate taking of another energy(I could be misinformed about that). From what you describe it seems your pulling others energy into your heart chakra which is located in your chest.
    Are you able to conciously close it or do you have no control of when it ends?
    There are techniques used to pull from the universal life supply when your feeling depleated instead of pulling it from others.
    This is only what my first thoughts jump twords and as I've said I'm certainly no expert on the subject.
    Maybe look into the different chakras and Chi(or the universal life force/energy). I don't believe your going to be able to find hard concreat scientific evidence on yahoo giving you a defenite answer to what your experiencing. It depends on what your own personal beliefs are. I'm assuming that you feel this vacum in your minds eye rather than actually seeing the energy transferance with your human eyes? and that the physical evidence of it is the other persons sigh/and or cough?

    Sounds like you're making a connection between events where none probably exists. I also believe that it's real to you, but have you asked the other people about it? Perception is reality, and perception is a funny thing.

    For a better understanding of how humans acquire and use energy, try looking up articles on "respiration". I think it will de-mystify some things about "the flow of energy", which is anything but metaphysical - and which is not something you can "suck out" of other people.

    OP: start by studying the chakra system, so you can get an understanding of the basic principles involved. Why this is happening involuntarily, I don't know. Clearly, you're an unusually sensitive individual, to be able to perceive that this is happening. Most of us give and take energy without being aware of it. My best guess is that there's a deficiency in your energetic system, but without more info, I can't help. (Do you have any health issues?) A good acupuncturist might be able to help, but you'd need to find one that knows the old Taoist techniques (most acus have studied "Traditional Chinese Medicine", which Mao designed after purging the old Taoist stuff, the techniques that really worked), or a practitioner of Japanese acupuncture (based on the Taoist practice). They deal with energy, and they might be able to help you. The only other alternative is to find a bona-fide healer, and that's very difficult, especially in the US/West. (The rest of you can laugh or get all scientific about it, but this is what the OP needs.) What part of the country do you live in? Are you in North America?

    I had a very similar experience recently. My girlfriend has been very in tune with chi energy since she was a small child, and wanted to test my reaction/perception. When she pushed her energy in through my hands, I felt an excitement in my chest which felt like an electric shock. It was so strong that I felt like I had to cough or laugh, as if I needed to push it out with my voice. Maybe this is something similar. You might be susceptible to having your energy unconsciously taken from you. When this happens, I would suggest finding some way to replenish yourself so you don't get sick.

    @SprinkleFrogg, I'm not sure what caused you to revive the thread, but it's 2 years old, and I would say that many of the participants - including the OP - haven't been around for some time....
    feel free to start a new thread.
    this is interesting because too have seen it done and know it can be done.
