A friend just sent me a link to an article exploring what Buddhism might mean to 21st century North Americans.

    Very interesting, if you read the whole thing, but one must also be mindful of their feelings or may be offended by the overtures against Mahayana/Vajrayana that clinging to those traditions may evoke, and thus cause suffering and aversion toward selfless investigation of that author's reasoning. Quite offensive to some, no wonder his publisher said no.
