What is the best method that helps you develop equanimity?

    I develop equanimity by sitting with my eyes closed and observing sensations, pleasant or unpleasant or neutral, and practising equanimity towards them. Surprisingly, this practising on small things leads to also being able to be more equanimous towards the big things.
    What I do is called Vipassana, or Insight Meditation, as based in the Satipatthana Sutta.
