Anyone have any experience with this learning tool http://www.dharmacrafts.com/101xAT/2026CD/insight-meditation-cds-24.html or the Insight Meditation Society in Barre? This is done by Sharon Salzberg and Jospeh Goldstein. It looks to be a structured curriculum along with correspondence. I have no teacher and feel I could use some expert guidance and structure. Let me know what you think.
All the best to everyone!
Todd

I haven't taken that particular course, but I'm familiar with both Salzberg's and Goldstein's work and they're excellent teachers. Sharon Salzberg, in particular, has a nice way of making somewhat difficult concept easy-to-understand and her work in imbued with her focus of her work, which is lovingkindness.

    Glow,
Thank you. I have heard of these teachers but know very little of their work. I am looking to bring a greater deal of metta practice to my practice as well as deepening my meditation/vipassana practice. I feel that in my own studies I have learned much but I could benefit from greater direction and focus. Are there courses that you could personally recommend? I am getting this course and will look into more of Salzberg's work, especially as it deals with metta practice.
Thank you again and all the best,
    Todd
