  • Nichiren Buddhism is a Mahayana tradition, whose primary meditation form is mantra chanting. Nichiren Buddhism is based upon the Lotus Sutra, and Nichiren's teachings.Nichiren was a Tendai monk in Japan, from 1222 to 1282 CE. Our mantra is Namu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo; in english it translates approximately to "Veneration to the Wonderful Dharma of the Lotus Flower Sutra".
  • Maybe try the diamoku. That's what I use.
  • OM MANI PADME HUM!
