The two symbols either side of the 'eyeball' (which look like a number 8 on their side) are called "Lemniscates".
Just thought I'd add....
Thank you for the illustration. Although I actually find the image in your avatar far more interesting, intricate and fascinating. Care to post a bigger version....?

The link is too long to condense and became corrupted. I found the picture online and posted a new link. I'll have to leave it as it is, and it's just going to have to span the screen.... It's a great picture.
What does that picture mean?? And what are those lemisisces or whatever???

Plus, minus, positive, negative, perpetual motion round and round, seeing everything flows, everything is connected, from binary origins to atoms, to the Buddha to nature, all one in a never-ending cycle of being.
or something like that.
It's LEMNISCATES. Don't be rude or dismissive about things. The word is above you in the post. If you can't spell it, copy it.

It's a mathematical symbol denoting "eternal, perpetual, without end". Interesting that most symbols have a title ... & = ampersand, ¬ means 'negation' and so on....
This @ however - has the name (simply) 'At'.
In Italian it's called a "Chiocciola" ('ladybird') and in French "arobase".
The lemniscate is used in mathematics to represent infinity. Interesting that even though I've used it many times in mathematics, I don't recall that we were ever told its name or even the equation for the Lemniscate of Bernoulli. Maybe my memory is finally fading...
