Hi Dazzle - I am referring to the teachings of the Mahasiddhas. Better known as the 84 Mahasiddhas

Oh, the stories of the lives of the 84 Indian Siddhas which are told in Tibetan Buddhism ? -then I am- sort of. I'm not an expert on them though.

Depends on which Mahasiddha you are talking about.

For Gorampa and Saraha, I think the Sakyapas are the best source of information.

The teachings of the 84 Mahasiddhas are the teachings of Tantric Buddhism, which are not given to beginners. Perhaps you have a question about what you read in the Lives of the 84 Mahasiddhas and would like some clarification? That we can probably do.

The lineage that I receive teachings from are based on the teachings of the Mahasiddhas. I was just wondering if there was anyone else here who was receiving the same.

@jinzang - no the stories in themselves make perfect sense to me - and when they don't i always speak with my teacher.

@Dazzle - here is another one that is a really good introduction to the Mahasiddhas - but should be read like a story book and not with the hope of receiving some profound teaching. Enjoy! :-)
