Anyone know a program I can download for free to record streaming videos to put on my desktop, and then possibly drag it into my phone to watch later?

For sites like youtube, you can use a firefox plugin called "flv movie downloader". If it's for something else, you can use screencapture software ( http://www.anewmorning.com/2009/01/06/5-free-alternatives-to-fraps/ ).

@MrSerenity, If you mean download videos from YouTube and stuff like that, and you're using Firefox, I'd recommend "Ant Video Downloader". Works on all kinds of sites that use embedded streaming video.
