How Much Does Everybody Weight I Wonder...

Out of pure curiosity and nothing to do with finding out if people are under or over weight to amuse myself, how much do you currently weigh?

I don't own scales and randomly came across a pair at my friends shop yesterday and weighed myself for the first time in ages
I am 74KG and 6 feet tall

roughly 270 lbs 5'11" and currently out of shape, but I'm working on that. I don't plan on losing much weight, just turning it into muscle mass.

I am 92 kg and 1.91 meters tall. I'm on a diet at the moment as I was starting to look like I was nine month pregnant, I'm happy to say I only look three month pregnant now :D

  • In the eyes of the dharma, it should not matter what you look like, unless it is very bad for your health. Being overweight isn't too bad, clinically obese however is a problem to ones health. However, IMO you have many many more lifetime ahead of you from this one :p

Yeah but, I want to be healthy for more practical applications. A fit body can do more than one that is unhealthy. And yeah looking a bit better has something to do with it but that is a secondary prerogative :P

5'3" 105-110 lbs. last i checked, i think i am technically slightly "underweight" although i eat practically nonstop and i think when you take into consideration my body frame (very small, no hips, narrow shoulders), i'm pretty spot on.
  • hey zombiegirl, Sonya Thomas 98lbs, 181 chicken wings in 12 minutes. Just sayin!

  • 5'7" 60kg
  • 400 lbs 4ft 3in,.... what kind of nosy question is this?
  • 5'5, 103 pounds... But also am confused with this thread, haha.
  • Why are you confused lol... It is pretty simple :p It is merely a random thought I had.

well I see some aspects of life in a monk/nun point of view, not with everything, but you don't need to have a healthy body other than to be alive, all you need is the mind with the body.
  • We're just teasing, because some of us are ladies and asking our weight... well to me that's like asking my boob size. It's seems like fishing, in order to get a mental picture of us.

lol, I love that. We should say that when we go to the doctor's office in a deadpan voice.
  • I said around 15, but I'm 100% sure it's under 20
  • Haha I know I wasn't criticizing ^_^

I imagined it being said in a bragging voice, but deadpan is hilarious.
  • 6'1" 208, just weighed myself the other day to track weight loss since I have hardly been eating lately. Don't need much food to read and meditate, i was like 220 a few weeks ago. I plan on getting in shape just to take care of my body, I'm not interested in impressing anyone with my body.

    5' 8" and 190 lbs. Lost 10 pounds quitting drinking :)
  • Actually, I misread your original post. The population of the earth is currently around 6,775,235,741. If you figure a global average of 70 kg per person, that comes up to approximately 474,266,501,870 kg, or 2.16 × 10^11 pounds.

    :)
  • Thanks mountains hahaha. That is a lot of weight.
