Great video.

My thoughts on this is: we should worry only about what happen to us personally, what we experience during our meditation.

I like that team! :D We need a team like that to go around America to Christian faith healers.
  • lol, the wig alone was enough to rouse suspicion. I have to say though, Christian faith healers are smarter, they dont use magic tricks.

The best video though is of Sai Baba doing his lame magic tricks.

They do, it's all about power of suggestion and distraction. Which is based on doing magic. :D
  • Of course there is another aspect to this story - the perceptibility of the villagers.

The story is not in the miracles - the real story is about being set free from our own superstitions.

In this the Indian villagers are not alone. Westerners are constrained by their belief in superstition and the magical powers in the stock market - that the stock market is a measure of one's well being.

If we laugh at the video can we laugh at our own belief systems?

Anyone from a traditional society who demands money for faith-healing or shamanic services is a fake. No bona-fide healer would do that, it's considered a transgression to use a divine gift for profit. Demanding more than a token amount of money is a red flag. Great that this bunch is dedicating themselves to educating villagers about fraud, though.
  • "The stock market is a measure of one's well being?" I dont think thats a common belief. The stock market is an indicator of certain aspects of economies. Equating faith healing with the stock market is a huge stretch. Unless you care to explain further...

and I for one think the stock market is a suckers game.
