Xuang Zang

edited May 2011 in Buddhism Today
For anyone who's interested on details about Venerable Master Xuang Zang. He is the one who translate the many Sanskirt Sutras into Chinese. He's pretty awsome.

  • Hi NOTaGangsta,

Tnanks for sharing. I wasn't aware there is a video on the Xuanzang, sometimes they spelled it Huang Tsang . Maybe that's why I couldn't recognize who the video is about. This is a fascinating story.

    With metta,

Thanks for the link, the Japanese tv version of journey to the west was my first introduction to Buddhism when I was a kid, wish I'd paid more attention to the philosophy and not the fight scenes at the time. :)

The most impressive and awesome journey of his hardship for mankind is the personal imparting of Heart Sutra from the love & care of Goddess of Mercy.
