I tried internet searching this topic, hoping for something along the lines of "mindful stick shifting."

    At the risk of being comical and sarcastic, I would think the buddha would say something like this:

    It's hard to be mindful of the scenery outside when you're in fifth gear and your accelerator is pushed to the floor.

    and,

    Everything is impermanent, even your transmission gear. :lol:
