    I'd love to think I could make an adequate movie version of a book called
    "The Chinese Bandit" by Stephen Becker -- the fictional tale of a U.S. Marine who is captured by and later becomes a bandit in China in 1947. A great, adventure-filled read and filled with Buddhism/Taoism/Confucianism without ever mentioning them.
