Season 2 of Through the Wormhole opens with the exploration of life after death. It largly stays away from near death experiences but instead asks what is conciousness/the soul. I thought it was a well balanced and largely scientific inquiry into the nature of conciousness.

    It's wrong in saying that Buddhism believes that "the body is the vessel for the soul, and the soul is eternal".

    It's great when neuroscientists have NDE's or temporary brain damage that allows them to observe and analyze their experiences.
    This elaborates on the article that was posted a few weeks ago that said that consciousness was a field that was part of the "fabric of the universe". Great film, person!
