In theory it seems the easiest. Then mosquito season started.

Argh!

I had a fly bugging me the whole evening. It was a very weird fly started trying to land on my computer screen. The next morning I saw it by the window. I could tell it was the same fly because it moved slow like it was in the house the whole night. It looked like a mutated fly very weird and I had some compassion on it and tried to get it out the window. Then I couldn't and I was sort of bottled up in my thoughts frustrated and thinking the fly would just have to deal. But then I thought, no you can do this think logically. And I got an index card and a glass and caught the fly. Then released it back outside. I knew it was going to die soon, but I wanted it to experience the fresh air.

lol i had a fly inside the house so i waited until it went to the window, then closed it. then i opened the screen from the outside so that the fly could roam the skies.

    bodhisattva action!
everything wants to live and be happy.

    water flows downstream.
  • Until this summer I don't believe I've ever thought twice about swatting at a mosquito. Certainly didn't care if it lived. It's been a different experience. I like the feeling and extra level of compassion. I could do without the bites. ;) People around me think I'm nuts. Haha

it helps to wear bug repellant.

i think of it as preemptive bodhisattva action for my body and all insects involved.

Blowing or brushing mosquitos off works well and doesnt' kill them.
  • ...or just put filters in the windows.

    It's only a problem when I'm outdoors. :)

Blowing them off is my preference. And staying indoors in the evening works well too. ;)
