Best way to 'Let go' is to say 'F**K IT' according to John C.parkin.

There are times when we all say F**k it and:

finally go over to that girl we like...

walk out of our crappy jobs..

finally speak our minds...

take a sickie off work..

eat all the chocolate cake..

lie on the grass and just stare at the sky not caring who sees us....etc etc etc..

When we say F**k it. This is Freedom. Finally doing what we really want to.

What are your opinions on this??

One of the surest requirements of spiritual endeavor is honesty -- not some namby-pamby honesty, but down-on-the-ground straightforwardness within. Never mind good and evil, never mind elevated and debased, never mind holy and unholy ... just be honest for once. "I love chocolate," for example, or "I get horny" or "I'd love to be rich" or "I am so angry" of "I'm scared of worms," etc.

But there is a distinction worth making between honesty and "fuck it." Honesty just lays out the facts. "Fuck it" relies on something or someone else. Relying on something else is not freedom. Examining what is is more fruitful than disdaining what you imagine.

    Awesome Feeling!:)
  • Wouldn't 'taking a sickie' count as wrong speech if you weren't really ill? Not that I haven't done it myself...but it just occurred to me to wonder.

    i'm not sure.

saying fuck it just sounds like an immature holden caulfield. even though he hates the fuck you on the walls.

true letting go basically requires you to do nothing. just be and accept what is. watch everything arise and fall.

lets be frank. when you try to let go do you really let go? when you do anything to let go are you really letting go?

most of the time we are repressing it or just ignoring it.

how about we just be and face it directly in all our nakedness.

true freedom is acceptance of what is. whether you are in hell or heaven. taking a shit or eating ice cream. having good sex and even bad sex. being okay with all of it.
