Actually Satanism is not similar to Christianity. Its main tenet is "treat others how they treat you" whereas Christianity is "treat others how you would like to be treated" and that's just the beginning.
I was involved in Paganism for nearly 20 years and have friends who are and were involved in Satanism. Anton LaVey is the most well known Satanist, but there are many schools of Satanism. Just as there are many different schools of Buddhism. But I don't know how many people here are interested or know of it to discuss it.
