The title leaves out the specifics of what you consider to be adequate examples.

The membership is constantly changing, new members coming in, some long-term ones leaving. So interests change. This is a good example of impermanence. Perhaps the forum is going through a political phase now, though that element has always been present.

It could be that with the deterioration of the economy, people are becoming more political. Could be that the deterioration of the economy is more visible in the West than in Thailand. I don't know. Tell us about it. Have you noticed any changes in the last year or two, from your vantage point?

It's all ever evolving like life!:)
  • Yes life is political, but this is a buddhist anbd nobody says that politics are not allowed here (even though many things are not), and further more, I never said that this forum was never political, just recently it has become highly political, as if it is a cabinet board or some sort of revoluton or something.

Here in Thailand politics go on as they do in every country, we have had a new chaneg of power, a natural distater that is STILL taking place, the people pointing the fingers and blaming are mainly expats and not the locals who are helping.

Also, the buddha made a point where he avoided politics, it is just my opinion but it is obvious how this site has become a place for discussions of revolutions that never were.
  • And by the way mountains, didi is my fellow friend Mr typo if you have not worked that out in the vastness of your brain. :)
