Anybody find themselves remembering or thinking about things they have read, that they find annoying?

    Yes - but such feelings of annoyance signal that you recognize something of which you had not been aware previously and that you have instilled within you a different set of values.

    I was forced to read a lot of books in highschool that I found traumatic. It really turned me off to reading. I read a lot now, but all non-fiction. I can't relate to fiction at all.
