Wanted to share

We don't have to make this a long post but something happened today that made me feel so good.

I wanted to share:

I was in a long line at walmart and instead of looking thru hollywood gossip I just focused on mindfulness. I often wonder if it actually works...well proof came.

I was on my way out and a lady was running with a child back pack, she blew past me to the cashier. All I heard was : " green... Black." Was all I heard. I kept going to the exit but only glanced back, she was almost to the other side of the store. She was yelling but I couldn't make it out.

It's walmart in a city, madness is common. I shrugged making my way to the exit. Then I don't know why I turned to my left but a small cute toddler walked in my path. Quite common, kids are everywhere. I smiled at him and looked at his puma jacket.

"black...green"

I didn't analyze or think. I took him by the hand, such a good happy child and started to lead him toward the cashier.

The same woman showed up nearly a minute later, her face was pale with fear. She scooped him up and I felt God's love.

She thanked me, then scolded him.

Somehow I knew this was the missing child ...i don't know how but I was glad it was me that found him.

I'm amazed at the mind

Nice story, a good example of a benefit for more mindfulness. :)
