I have to alternate my Birkenstocks with my black toe curled shoes and my broom is out of commission. . . I'm waiting for my black cloak to get out of the cleaners.

Can't you see from the photo? That's a candid shot of me. Having an Na beer after a salty soup settling. I sits and drinks.

You guessed it though. I was thinking of summer days.

@ Brian, My parents think this is my diary.
  • very true and funny, not so much my parents but certainly some neighbors I have had. It is just sad for the kids when they don't to have friends over because of the smell of animal sacrifice and the orgies.
  • The meme phenomena is fascination.
  • Ah, and the headless chickens...let's not forget about that...bowls of chicken blood poured over the unholy altar of Baal.
  • With stone temple pilots playing in the background.
  • Lol...or black Sabbath...sacrifice, sacrifice...

    I think we need a virgin...@ittybittybat....maybe her?
  • If you are getting grief for practising Buddhism, coldly wave off family and neighbours on the matter. Give no time to their judgements and opinions, until they respect it as the new normal. Then you can forget about being a Buddhist, and be a softy again. Social ostracism for practising Buddhism is bullshit.

Everyone I know is cool with Buddhism. Unfortunately they are several steps to the right of Eric Cartman when it comes to hippies...

In my Sangha, we've had to stop sacrificing virgins, because they're getting so hard to find!!!

I love Eric Cartman, especially when he says "respect my authoritay"

It means the flavour, style of the current times, whatever's the general mood or running theme, the defining spirit....

Oh.... hang on......I think I know what you're getting at...... :D

I have to tell you @ZenBadger that your post is funnier than you may have known. Not sure if you are from the UK or not, but in the UK you would have had them rolling in the aisles!!

In the UK the phrase "to knock up" refers to getting a girl pregnant. In that light, your post is hysterical!!! Thanks for that EXCELLENT pun!!!

Up here in Sheffield, before they had cheap alarm clocks you could pay a lad to knock you up in the morning for a few pennies a week...:-)

    (all puns intended!)

and he could tell the time.....how?

the thing to do, if you want to know the time accurately, is to find a bedroom window that's slightly ajar, and start making as loud a din as you can.
someone is bound to come to the window, and bellow angrily-,
"who the *&$%"$@~# is making that *&$"@#~ing racket at three o'clock in the morning - ?!!?"

    sorted!
