    Most "oracles" (shamans/healers) in the Tibetan tradition are actually women. There's a film showing such healers in action: "Oracles of Ladakh", by Mystic Fire video. This is pure Inner Asian shamanism. Cool, Leon. I dunno how you find some of this stuff.

    I'm still a little skeptical on the phenomena. I'd really like to see it up close in person to get a better idea of whats happening.

    When I was in Dharamsala for HHDL's new years teaching he was in the monastery about to come out for a brief public statement. Just before he did a small flock of birds passed over head. Right above the balcony where HH was going to speak they stopped and circled three times around. Everyone there saw it and it kind of blew my mind.

    In TB circumambulation is a fairly standard practice. Walking around a holy object is a show of respect and is supposed to generate merit. It was just a flock of birds but I've never seen them stop and fly in a small circle before moving on anywhere else. So from my experience there is definately some magic happening there.
