  • Thank you weighted!
  • Cheers weighted, I hope everything is a little better for you right now? Remember PM me if you ever want to talk. Thanks for the link again :buck:
  • Thanks, @ThailandTom.

Hope this helps at least some of us. If you're stuck in the office, that website can give you a few minutes worth of peace and quiet.

i was hoping to see more than the sea..

(there's a song in there somewhere....!)
  • Probably one of the best months of my life was when I lived in Weymouth. Got a cash in hand job doing some of the easier removals- because in reality it's a seriously gruelling job, but getting paid top notch while all the other guys humped the heavy stuff.

After work I'd sometimes pay a visit to the awesome chippy there, maybe pay a visit to relatives or stand in the sea when really drunk, which was a fantastic- do something stupid with clothes on moment at the time. Also used my hard earned cash to catch a catamaran to Guernsey. Again, fantastic coastline, although slightly surreal eating sandwiches with an adandoned machine gun bunker bearing down on me.

But anyway, thanks for reminding me about the power of the sea, beaches and sunsets!

Thich Naht Hahn tells a nice story about a wave. He says we're like a wave who is thinking, "Where did I come from? Why am I here? What happens when I die? (etc)", but when the wave realises she's actually just water, the wave ceases all worrying.

    He tells it better! :D

While I appreciate that people of all ages tend to be quite puerile when bums and tits are mentioned, it's also idle chatter on the buddhist forums.

This is somewhat unfair on weighted and the rest of the people who offered less childish input, but then again, maybe they aren't too bothered.

Still, for all you know BEKENZE I could have been a male prostitute, or maybe subconciously I am gay but just don't know it. Even so, what's it to you?

I hope you wouldn't talk to a stranger like that. It's bad manners, and it can cause all sorts of unwanted side effects. I guess that's what comes from posting behind the safety of your computer screen.
