remembering Soen Nakagawa Roshi

genkakugenkaku Northampton, Mass. U.S.A. Veteran
edited March 2012 in Arts & Writings
FWIW, the book Remembering Nakagawa Soen Roshi is now available for free the Internet. The book is a compilation of recollections, art and poetry, all centered around the somewhat eccentric teacher whose Zen practice touched so many.

When it was first compiled and published by Estelle Gerard in 2008, the book was intended as a gift to Ryutaku Monastery (where Soen Roshi was once abbot) and for the enjoyment of its contributors. Now it is offered to a wider audience which may have some interest in the appreciations of those who came into contact with or enjoyed the training of this pretty-remarkable man.
