Hello all. I'm new here and a non-sectarian Buddhist. I hope I'm not intruding but I guess I'm not allowed to post in any threads yet? I guess I'm impatient and that's one of the things I am focusing on with my practice but reading your thoughts here is making me itch to add my perspective to the conversations.

It's hard to find that on general religion forums through cheesey dating sites and all the other Buddhist forums I know of are dead or very restrictive.

I don't even know if this will post because when I try to respond to posts, I'm told I'm not allowed.

I did email Lincoln but if that is only one person, they could be gone a while...

I'm off to work for a while but if this posts, any information regarding waiting periods or other restrictions would be grand.

    Well, I tried to comment on a thread just prior to trying to start my own and I had that little skull and crossbones come up... So I figured maybe I had to earn the right to respond to others since this one posted... Could be just the timing. If I can post from my phone I'll try in a bit.

    Nope, it seems to be resolved... Missed my train so I gave it a go and all's well. Still have to go to work but will update my profile or whatever we call it here tonight.

    So far, I really like it here. It's like a breathe of fresh air.
