    Two things:

    1) "Odd" can literally mean anything. Perspective is everything.

    2) I don't believe we are a representative sampling of Buddhists.

    Odd in the perspective of the norm... and not Buddhists but merely people to frequent this forum...

    I used to think that buddhism attracted odd folks until I stepped back from it and found no significanr difference anywhere else..
    I think an odd person is just someone you get to know.
