I'm not much of a fan of touting things to others but I watched the 2006 documentary "Deliver Us From Evil" last night. Yes, it's about Roman Catholicism's priest abuses and, if you're anything like me, the topic is been-there-done-that stale. But I found the knee-jerk conclusions of horror or anti-religious fervor overwhelmed in this very quiet, very connect-the-dots recitation. What overwhelmed all the stale conclusions was the sheer humanity and humanness of it all... a humanity from which Buddhists are far from exempt.
