I was trying to find some information on Kalmyk mantras and texts, and came across this lovely video. I love the insistent bird joining in :)

    Beautiful.

Since the last line of the post tipped me off to the bird, I noticed that as
soon as I hit play, I was watching for that bird. The music was coming
    nice and then...swooooooshhh!
I saw the bird fly in the shot twice. Thats gone. whew! Im glad the
aniticipation is over, now I can enjoy the music.
I closed my eyes, and back to listening I went. Afterall, now I could relax.
Then the bird really got started! Shut up, birdie!!!!!!!! lololololol

This little clip turned out to be such a lesson for my practice.
First, I did'nt go into the moment(s) ready for them. Accepting whatever
was going to unfold. I was already anticipating something.
Then, I assumed what that very moment was going to be be. (I came in with a view).
The OP did not say HOW the bird was joining...I just assumed. Then when what I
'thought' was going to happen, DID happen, well, The universe is lovely.
Everything went the way my ego wanted, right?

No, two seconds later, my mind is in an anger state over the same
bird interupting my song! The same bird, I was anticipating
    in the first place!

After that, it took me three more practice times to listen and not hear the bird.
May I continue to learn and meditate on all things that cross my path.
    Gratitude for this lesson.
  • There's a busker in my city who plays one of those. I love bumping into him. It's such a weird sounding instrument.
