Loneliness is Killing MEE!!!

  • @LeonBasin I think that @RebeccaS has hinted on some great advice. Find an organization that needs your time, specifically those that include working with people: helping at a homeless shelter, habitat for humanity, hanging out at nursing homes chatting with people (a lot of lonely people there), hospice, etc. There so many organizations that need your time. Focusing on helping others (especially those who may have similar isolationist feelings) will put your own problems in proper context.

One thing I would suggest if you chose this route: in addition to seeing those who are volunteering with you as potential friends, see those you are helping as potential friends.
