Hell Offering

Many of us offer The Buddha good things. Rightly so. We have burdens and hardships to offer to the Buddhas too. Taking refuge is in part knowing we can offer these negative traits, experiences and karma to the Buddha and they will be dissipated to the lower realms as nectar.
What a kind Buddha. Compassionate.
What have you to offer? Enough to feed a hell realm? Probably just a drop.

I take refuge in the Buddha.
I take refuge in the Dharma.
I take refuge in the Sangha

    I am sure you will have your answer . . . in time . . . ;)
  • I don't understand. By offering our negative experiences to the Buddha we can ease the suffering of those in the hells?

Well I am not the right hell dweller to explain this but a little lama once told me:
that when on the toilet, these descending arisings can be offered to the hungry ghosts and hell realms,
. . . so a smart Buddha should be able to place the negative as well as the positive and even the impartial . . .
  • We can offer but he doesn't have to take.
