Some like and are able to have dinner parties. Do you feed guests?

  • Love that idea! Thanks for sharing :). When I get out of this apartment I'm so trying it out hehe. It would be like a nature show taking place in your own back yard!

By the way, are you alright? I saw your post on the other thread. :(

Will u be in the neighbourhood and hungry? I'm pretty sure there won't be anybody on the menu you know.

We feed the birds and get some terrific tag alongs as a result, like stray cats, squirrels, eagles (still birds, but yeah not really what we intended to feed) and deer. If you talk softly and move quietly, they will get used to your presence of filling the feeders for them, and come spring, they will eat out of your hand, with enough patience on your part.

So awesome! Although I'd be like a dear in headlights if an eagle showed up. O_O Having woodland critters eat from your palm sounds enchanting! Nature is beautiful.

Eagles are terrific. We have a healthy population of goldens and balds, and see them often. They are massive birds! It's almost magical to see them. We are blessed to live in an area abundant with nature. Definitely beautiful.

You must mean where I had to post my own obituary? I made a full recovery from not having died.

Who knows?. Not sure who was my mother being and who my last supper.
I consider the chickens I eat as friends.

I was at a Dharma centre. A butterfly was trapped in the building. I gently 'chased' it back into the real world outside. Just as it entered freedom, a small bird swooped and made a meal of it. This is the world. Dukkha and meal time. How terrible. How wonderful. :)
