I am putting this here just because I know it is not that far from Australia and we have several Australian friends here and it has not so far been reported on the major news networks. I assume it will be shortly. It is also possible an alert will be issued for Hawaii (info from usgs earthquake reporting center and Pacific Tsunami reporting center)
