Wow. I am not a vegetarian, but reading this, and especially the last paragraph, has really made me think..

I remember seeing Koko on t.v. as a child. Recently, my own toddler started to become fixated on the gorillas at our zoo. So I looked gorillas up online to show her and came across Koko again. She is so wonderful.

You may or may not heard of Snowflake, the rare white gorilla. A heartbreaking story. How anyone can slaughter gorillas and take babies away is beyond belief. http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/snowflake-the-white-gorilla/snowflakes-legacy/278/
