Last night, at 10.21 p.m., my son and his partner were safely delivered of a son, Sebastian Gregory. Everybody well, apparently. Little blighter was late, of course.

    Yes, congrats.

    I hope the father is relieved, the child healthy the that the mother is blessed with a speedy recovery.

    I once had a friend, speaking of children, who once said, "It's funny... you spend two years teaching children to walk and talk and then sixteen years telling them to shut up and sit down. "
