    Most are but they do have canvas boat shoes. Which are made of canvas. Those are good! :)

    Yes I like boat shoes, Kung fu slippers and wellies.
    Goretex is more breathable than wearing cow bits on your feet.

    If you are shopping at a store you can do a sniff test which addresses 2 problems:

    Is it made of animals
    Does it have outgassing problems, some fake leathers do
